Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • ATP Required
  • CE-500 Type Rating required
  • Prior Part 135 and air medical experience preferred but not required.
  • Exceptions allowed for prior military personnel with an honorable discharge and civilian certificates.

This contract requires the following minimum flight experience:

  • Total Time: 2500 hours, 1500 hours PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 night PIC and 500 turbine

Educational qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Physical requirements:

Ability to climb in and out of aircraft and ambulances required. Ability to sit for extended periods of time and complete computer work. Overnight travel required for training, and occasional relief work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs all maintenance in accordance with applicable regulatory, manufacturers and SevenBar Aviation LLC. regulations
  • Maintain aircraft to highest standards possible
  • Maintain aircraft in excellent aesthetic condition
  • Maintain ground support equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
  • Maintain aircraft, company publications, and documents in a current revision status
  • Coordinates with SevenBar Aviation Director of Maintenance or his appointee to ensure timely acquisition of parts, tooling, and equipment
  • Schedule maintenance in an efficient and organized manner which maximizes aircraft availability.
  • Perform maintenance record entries in accordance with applicable FAR’s, manufacturer’s and SevenBar Aviation policies and procedures
  • Submit maintenance records to the principal business office in a timely manner
  • Monitor and account for all inventory parts, supplies, and shop tools

Required Qualifications:

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) as prescribed by FAR 65
  • Eligibility for Inspection Authorization (IA) as prescribed by FAR 6
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years King Air 200 experience
  • Must have appropriate tools for the mission

This individual will be responsible for conducting training and checking activities for all SevenBar bases. Reporting to, and working in sync with, the Rotor Wing Chief Pilot, this position is critical to the success of our company and customers, and is a key leadership role within our flight operations team.

  • The Check Airman role is a full-time salaried aviation position that will require regular regional and occasional national travel as needed for conducting training and evaluations
  • The Check airman concentrates his focus on internal Company aviation activities. This person obtains direction from the Chief Pilot. This is a tactical position which supports all of the company values
  • A Check Airman supports these important values by applying the pilot training standards, processes, and procedures contained in the current FAA Approved Pilot Training Manual and General Operations Manual
  • The Check airman may conduct ground school activities and flight training activities with line pilots for their Initial, Transition, Recurrent, and Re-qualification training requirements
  • A Check Airman may serve as a Line Pilot or an Instructor Pilot
