We’re hiring a Captain for our Houston Texas team.You will report to the Base Manager and be responsible for safe and efficient air medical flight operations of a Citation Bravo. You will work with another supporting flight crew member and a team of highly trained medical professionals.
We’re looking for someone who;
Communicates effectively the Chief Pilot, Base Manager, and other crew members regarding flight operations
Can effectively mentor and coach junior pilots that helps prepare them to lead
Has no hesitation cancelling or suspending any flight operation in the interest of safety, until hazards have been removed or are no longer a threat to safe operations
Performs the Line Pilot role, as well as other tasks as assigned, to help support the strategic objectives of the flight operations department
Promotes and supports our Safety and Just Culture Programs
Embraces and demonstrates professional behavior consistent with our organizational values and policies

Must be able to hold a TSA or Airport-issued Air Operations Area (AOA) or Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) security badge
Must be able to meet Pilot in Command qualifications in the Citation Bravo aircraft and maintain a first class medical
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
CE-500 Type Rating required
Prior Part 135 and air medical experience preferred but not required.
Exceptions allowed for prior military personnel with an honorable discharge and civilian certificates.
This contract requires the following minimum flight
Total Time: 3000 hours, 1500 hours
PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 night PIC and 500 turbine
Ability to climb in and out of aircraft and ambulances required. Ability to sit for extended periods of time and complete computer work. Overnight travel required for training, and occasional relief work.
