Description

Job Purpose: To assist in operating the aircraft in a safe and proficient manner, while complying with all applicable FAR’s, Company Ops Specs/Manual contents, Aircraft Flight Manual and any policies and procedures set forth by the company.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule: A rotation schedule must be available to work weekends, holidays and swing shifts.

  • Completes preflight planning and preparation
  • Conform to normal, abnormal and emergency operations
  • Maintains a professional manner with all clients and employees
  • Assist in aeronautical decision-making and exercises sound judgment
  • Strive to maintain a teamwork environment while on duty
  • Assist in post-flight duties
  • Complete all necessary paperwork
  • Assist Captain with all duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • ATP Preferred but not required, with Comm Multi-Engine Land
  • Comm: 2000 hrs. TT, 800 PIC TT, 300 Multi-Engine PIC, 50 hrs. Night PIC
  • Basic computer knowledge

Physical Demands:
POSITION REPORTS TO: Base Manager

  • Must be able to maintain a FAA First Class Medical
  • Be able to lift 75 lb. baggage
  • Have normal range of motion and dexterity
  • Be able to perform any normal, abnormal or emergency duties
  • Occasionally exposed to air borne pathogens, toxic or caustic chemicals

Job Purpose: The line pilot is responsible for choreographing safe and efficient air medical flight operations. This role is Single Pilot IFR Captain working with a team of highly trained medical professionals. As PIC you will have the responsibility of making the tactical aviation decisions that help flight medics and nurses deliver outstanding patient care.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs the Line Pilot role, as well as other tasks as assigned, to help support the strategic objectives of the flight operations department.
  • Completes preflight planning, preparation and necessary paperwork.
  • Conforms to normal, abnormal and emergency operations.
  • Communicates effectively to the Chief Pilot, Base Manager, and other crew members regarding flight operational activities.
  • Has no qualms cancelling or suspending any flight operation in the interest of safety until hazards have been removed or are no longer a threat to safe operations.
  • Maintains a professional manner with all cliental and SevenBar employees.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Commercial/Instrument Rotorcraft-Helicopter Required, ATP preferred
  • Minimum of 2500 hours total time
  • Minimum of 1500 hours R/W time PIC required
  • Minimum 1000 R/W Turbine hours required
  • Minimum 500 hours cross-country required
  • Minimum 100 hours Simulated / Actual instrument time required
  • Minimum 100 hours of night time required
  • Must be able to hold a TSA or Airport-issued Air Operations Area (AOA) or Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) security badge.
  • Must be able to meet Pilot in Command qualifications in the Agusta Helicopter family.
  • Multi-engine experience preferred.
  • NVG experience preferred.
  • Prior Part 135 and air medical experience preferred. Exceptions allowed for prior military personnel with an honorable discharge and civilian certificates.
  • Prior Agusta experience preferred.
  • Actual IFR experience required, SPIFR experience preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays and swing shifts.

Licenses, Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions:

  • Maintains FAA license with IFR currency
  • Maintains all SevenBar Aviation required competencies and certifications
  • Must be able to maintain a FAA First Class Medical
  • Works in a patient care environment on the aircraft and is exposed to possible infectious diseases and chemical toxins.
  • Position may require sitting for long periods of time in an aircraft cockpit or in an office environment
  • Ability to operate aircraft and is exposed to motion, noise, vibration, jet fuel and exhaust vapors, and extreme temperatures; Occasionally exposed to air borne pathogens, toxic or caustic chemicals
  • Ability to lift at least 75 pounds using proper body mechanics
  • Have normal range of motion and dexterity
  • Ability to climb in and out of aircraft and ambulances is required.

Rotor Wing Technician A/P Required, IA Preferred

We are Seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Maintenance Base Maintaining an Agusta A109E/SP

SevenBar Aviation is seeking a Rotorcraft maintenance technician (Agusta A109E/SP) for our base in Sanford, Maine.

Job Duties:

  • Performs all maintenance in accordance with applicable regulatory, manufacturers and SevenBar regulations.
  • Maintain aircraft to highest standards possible.
  • Maintain aircraft in excellent aesthetic condition.
  • Maintain ground support equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Maintain aircraft and company publications and documents in a current revision status.
  • Coordinates with Director of Maintenance or his appointee to ensure timely acquisition of parts, tooling and equipment.
  • Schedules maintenance in an efficient and organized manner that maximizes aircraft availability and manpower.
  • Perform maintenance record entries in accordance with applicable FAR’s, manufacturers and SevenBar policies and procedures.
  • Submit maintenance records to the principal business office in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and account for all inventory parts, supplies, and shop tools.
  • Uphold the SevenBar Values and Safety standards as described in the SMS program.

Required Qualifications:

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) as prescribed by FAR 65.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) as prescribed by FAR 65.

  • 8 years Agusta A109E/SP or other Agusta rotorcraft.
  • Must have appropriate tools for the mission.
  • Knowledgeable of the FARs.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire and ability to work as a team with SevenBar operations and the medical crews.

  • Possesses sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications.
  • Work on-call basis as scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree preferred but not required.
  • Factory school on Agusta rotorcraft.
  • 10 years turbine or turbo-prop aircraft experience.
  • Previous EMS experience.
  • 5 years Citation and or King Air 200 experience a plus.
