SevenBar Aviation is proud to announce the addition Betsy Casanave as the Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining SevenBar Aviation, Casanave served as Director & Chief of Mobile Critical Care Services for WakeMed Health & Hospitals located in Raleigh, North Carolina where she started the first flight program for the organization and helped grow the ground division to meet the regional needs.
“I am really excited to join SevenBar Aviation and feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such an incredibly talented team” Casanave said. “I look forward to working side by side with everyone on all of the new and exciting initiatives we have coming down the pike.”
With an outstanding background in healthcare leadership, Casanave has held many leadership positions over the last 22 years in healthcare including Flight Program Operations and Management, Emergency Services & Special Operations, Critical Care, Performance Improvement and Education. Casanave has her Master’s in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Casanave is involved with many civic and professional organizations including serving as President of the North Carolina Air Medical Association. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Critical Care Transport and currently sits as an At-Large Director with the Association of Air Medical Services Board.
